My September 2024

New full-time, new content, new levels of happiness!!!

September has been a turning point. I found a new full-time job, and I feel seen and appreciated for the first time in a long while. I’ve returned to music production and even started creating short-form content for Instagram and TikTok again. Big things are coming.

Book - Happiness Falls by Angie Kim

A gripping mystery with deep emotional layers. If you’re into family dramas that dig into dark secrets, this one’s for you.

TV Show - Slow Horses, Season 4

This show just keeps getting better. The characters are complex, and the storylines are as sharp as ever. I would need to see through the final of the season, but I don't want to, I'm going to praise this season right now.

Documentary - The Pigeon Tunnel

John le Carré’s life was as fascinating as the spy novels he wrote. This documentary does an excellent job of showing the man behind the books.

My August 2024

Home, sweet home...

Back home, finally. I’ve been soaking in the comfort of stability. No wild trips, just relaxation and enjoying the small moments. Oh, and I’ve been tinkering with music production again — something I have been doing for years, but now I am very serious about that and maybe I will even publish something this year.

It wasn't sitting at home - protests, festivals, short trips, and a lot of new great people. But the feeling of my own place is very important. You keep forgetting, how important it is.

Soulful, uplifting, and exactly the vibe I needed for a month of quiet introspection.

TV Show - A Good Girl's Guide to Murder

Emmy Myers is just incredible in this role. The show is equal parts clever and thrilling—highly recommended.

Documentary - Shiny Happy People

This docuseries was shocking. The Duggars and their connection to a cult-like Christian ministry… it’s jaw-dropping stuff, and I couldn’t stop watching.

This month reminded me of the value of slowing down and finding peace in the familiar. Sometimes, we don’t need the adrenaline rush to find meaning.

My July 2024

5 countries, 4 flights, and a lot of different road trips.

Still on the move, but mostly spent the month in Armenia. My mom visited, and it was the most peaceful I’ve felt in months.

But then my friend's wedding came. This was the purpose of the Armenia trip and a lot of flights and stopovers I was going to make in the span of a few days. But look at us, we're having so much fun:

I’m beyond tired and just want to go home. The feeling of having a home to go to is something I don’t take for granted anymore.

Picked the bestseller again and wasn't disappointed. Colson Whitehead dives deep into 1970s New York in this gritty crime sequel to Harlem Shuffle. A masterclass in storytelling, with unforgettable characters and an intense atmosphere.

Documentary - Saviors: Heroic Workers in Ukraine

An emotional deep dive into the humanitarian workers on the frontlines in Ukraine. It’s sobering, heart-wrenching, and inspiring all at once.
